RUN FOR MILITARY FAMILIES

Ottawa-Petawawa: MAY 7-8, 2009

We raised $33,000 for CFB Petawawa’s military families!

 

EVENT SCHEDULE

To acknowledge gathered supporters, donors, veterans, students and military families along the way, the running convoy – consisting of commissionaires and military personnel – will make brief stops over the course of two days at the following assembly points: Parliament Hill (starting point), Kanata, Carp, Kinburn, Arnprior, Renfrew, the Township of McNab/Braeside, the Township of Whitewater Region, Pembroke, Petawawa, and through to the finish line in Petawawa.

This schedule provides an overview of all stops at schools and communities between Parliament Hill (Ottawa) and the Finish Line (Red Friday Welcome Home Troops Rally, Petawawa).

 

Day 1: May 7, 2009

Event launches on Parliament Hill, Centennial Flame (assemble at 8:00 a.m., opening remarks at 8:15 a.m., runners launch at 8:45 a.m.)

Finish Line is at the Red Friday Welcome Home Troops Rally at Moncion Grocers, Petawawa Market, 3025 Petawawa Boulevard (runners expected to cross finish line at 1:00 p.m.)
