QUALITY TRAINING - The Commissionaires Ottawa training program is the most comprehensive of any other security company in our service territory.

We have an excellent in-house training capability, with full-time certified instructors on-site and e-learning classroom facilities, and state-of-the-art training aids.Training is a continuous year-round activity and is verified through workshops, written exercises and a rated final examination.

Before commissionaires are even hired, they must successfully complete a six-day basic security course to the applicable CGSB standards, (including first aid, defibrillator and CPR training).

Through the years, commissionaires receive refresher courses and some advanced training.

Supervisors receive specialized training to the applicable CGSB standards, (e.g. Shift Leader’s Course, National Supervisors Course, Supervisors Seminar, and regular indoctrination briefings).
N.B. The quality of our training has been recognized by a number of our clients, who have on occasion contracted for our services to provide security training to their own staff.
