Are you applying for a name change and require fingerprints for a criminal record check? Commissionaires is accredited by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) to capture fingerprints and submit them directly to the Canadian Criminal Real Time Identification Services (CCRTIS) for processing.
Come to one of our six convenient locations and we’ll capture your fingerprints and submit them directly to the RCMP within minutes. If you do not have a criminal record, the RCMP will process your application within 72 hours.
For a name change, your fingerprints will only be used by the RCMP to confirm your identity. After the service has been completed, your fingerprints will be destroyed.
All digital fingerprinting is supervised by knowledgeable security professionals who will answer questions and help guide the process in a confidential setting.
We accept major credit cards, debit or cash at all of our locations. Applicants should bring two pieces of valid government-issued identification, one of which must be a photo ID. View acceptable types of ID (read FAQ 3)
